There She Goes
So I saw this fine black sista on the train during my commute to work. She had style and elegance. Everything a man could ask for in a woman. I started daydreaming about her. But then I figured, she probably has "issues" like all the woman that have come before her. Before you know it, we will probably end up hating each other. Now everytime I see her I think, "There Goes My Ex!!?

food for thought Mr. Wilson, "People only live up to the expectations you set"...! You imagine her as your wife, she will be that! You imagine 'ex'...she can be that too :)
Really it seems more like you are the one with the issues. I mean the woman never parted her lips to you and the truth is we do not all share the same brain. So you are allowing what you have experienced in the past to help you come up with some preconceived notion of who she is. The truth is that maybe she would not be your potential wife but she could be a really good friend. Also when you have a woman on your hands that you hate you have to ask yourself “what role did I play in getting us into this situation?”
TELL 'EM GIRL!!!!!!!!
lol
no...but all jokes aside Mr. Wilson, I'm only speaking from experience. Think of it as parent-child relationship. Kids who grow up in families where much is expected of them, usually hit the ground running in their adult lives. They are raised with a mentality that they can never settle for mediocrity, the sky is their limit. They are almost always over-achievers. On the otherhand, offspring of parents who constantly remind them that they have 'ADHD', or are spoken to in a condescending tone, usually end up depressed and lost. They never strive for much in life. Well my dear, that concept applies to all aspects of life, including relationships. People only live up to the expectations you set for them!
Thanks for the advice..Not a real life situation...Just something I picked up during the day.
It is refreshing to know that you all don't share the same brain. I wasn't convinced before :)
