Afterburn

Day 3 of my well deserved vacation. So far I've spent it catching up on little errands that have evaded me over the last couple of months. Currently I am down in Florida visiting some friends and family.

It took me less than two days to read 'Afterburn' by Zane. First thoughts??? Wow. Usually her books are a little 'extra' for me. Her writing style is a little provocative to say the least. However, she seemed to tone it down in this one, and it actually made for some good reading material.

Important Question

While listening to a little internet radio while at work, I had to ask myself the following question.......(Drumb roll please)

How in the world did Bobby Brown gain access to a word like 'Prerogative'? This word isn't big for well educated individuals like those reading this blog. But for Bobby Brown, (AKA The King of R&B) this word is just a little out of his range. I welcome your thoughts and opinions on how this word ended up in his vocabulary :)

I WANT HER

For 25 years I've been trying to learn what I want out of a woman physically and emotionally. After many ups and downs, I'm currently single and while all hope is not lost I can admit when I am either behind scheduled plans or on the short end of a mismatch.

So rather than waste time with all the wrong ones. I've made a serious decision in my life. I WANT OPRAH!!!!!!

I heard all about this Steadmond character and there is now way he can hold it down like me. I'm 25 and my back is strong. I will give her what she needs and I won't even mind living in the guesthouse. Somebody send Oprah my contact information.

Uncommon Sense

I like to think of myself as a reasonable and rational individual. Recently, more than ever I have been feeling as if I'm on the Island of Logic alone. If common sense was so common........Ehhhh y bother. I need a nap!

There She Goes

So I saw this fine black sista on the train during my commute to work. She had style and elegance. Everything a man could ask for in a woman. I started daydreaming about her. But then I figured, she probably has "issues" like all the woman that have come before her. Before you know it, we will probably end up hating each other. Now everytime I see her I think, "There Goes My Ex!!?

No need to explain how the love of money influences daily decisions. Is there anything you wouldn't do for the right amount of $$$$?

To Prenup or Not to Prenup....

That is the question! Let's face it, this is not a yes or no question. In my opinion there are multiple factors that should determine whether a couple should sign a prenup. What are your thoughts?
